UMI Performance 82-02 F-Body Double Adjustable Control Arms- Roto-Joints

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for American muscle cars. They use UMI's Roto-Joint technology, which is designed to allow for more suspension movement without binding, leading to better handling and a quieter ride compared to stock rubber bushings. This is especially helpful when you're trying to fit larger tires or center an aftermarket rear end.

These control arms are built from 1-1/4” DOM mild steel tubing with TIG welded chromoly tube adapters. The Roto-Joints themselves feature a hard chrome-plated chromoly ball that rotates in a greaseable Delrin race. This setup offers up to 28 degrees of total rotation, which helps prevent suspension bind during hard cornering or aggressive driving, while still being streetable. The double adjustable design means you can easily lengthen or shorten the arms on the car by simply loosening the jam nuts and turning the threaded ends, allowing you to adjust your rear end position for better tire clearance or alignment.

Because these control arms are adjustable on the vehicle, you can fine-tune your suspension setup without needing to remove them. The Roto-Joints are also rebuildable and greaseable, making them low maintenance for both daily drivers and track cars. They use your OEM hardware for installation, making the process straightforward.
