UMI Performance 82-02 F-Body Double Adjustable Lower Control Arm Panhard Bar Kit

This kit gives you UMI Performance's double adjustable lower control arms and a matching adjustable panhard bar, both equipped with their Roto-Joint technology. These Roto-Joints are designed to allow for a significant amount of rotation, up to 28 degrees, while still offering a streetable feel. They work by using a hard chrome-plated 4140 chromoly ball that rotates within a Delrin race. This setup is meant to prevent suspension binding, which can lead to wheel hop and reduced traction. Because the Delrin race has very little deflection compared to softer bushings, you should see an improvement in how your car hooks up and a noticeable reduction in wheel hop.

The control arms and panhard bar in this kit are fully adjustable while still installed on the vehicle. You can shorten or lengthen them by simply loosening two jam nuts on each component. This is really helpful for centering your rear end, especially after lowering your car, or if you're fitting larger aftermarket rear ends. The kit is constructed from DOM mild steel tubing and features CNC-machined 4140 chromoly tube adapters with left and right-hand threads for easy on-car adjustments. The Roto-Joints themselves are greaseable and designed for low maintenance, making this a solid setup whether you're cruising or hitting the track. The entire kit is TIG welded for strength and durability, and it comes with a durable powder coat finish.

This kit is shipped fully assembled and ready to install, using your vehicle's original hardware. If the Delrin race inside a Roto-Joint wears over time, it's designed to be easily rebuilt or adjusted using an optional spanner wrench to tighten the adjusting ring.
