UMI Performance 82-02 F-Body Lower Control Arms & Panhard Bar Kit- w/ Roto-Joints

This kit includes a set of rear lower control arms and an on-car adjustable panhard bar, designed to give your 1982-2002 F-body Camaro a noticeable improvement in handling and traction. It’s a solid option if you’re looking to upgrade your rear suspension for street performance or drag racing.

The control arms use a combination of Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings on one end and UMI's own Roto-Joints on the other. The polyurethane bushings are mounted to the chassis side, where their slightly softer nature helps absorb road noise and vibrations before they enter the cabin, keeping the ride more comfortable. On the rear end side, the Roto-Joints offer a significant upgrade. These joints allow for 28 degrees of total unrestricted movement, which helps prevent suspension bind. This bind-free operation leads to better tire contact with the road, improving traction and reducing wheel hop, especially during hard acceleration. The Roto-Joints are constructed with a 4140 chromoly, hard chrome-plated spherical ball that rotates within a durable Delrin race, making them wear-resistant and adjustable. You can tighten the Delrin race with a spanner wrench as it wears, or even rebuild the joint if needed.

The included panhard bar is crucial for keeping your rear end centered, especially if you've lowered your vehicle or plan to run larger tires. It features a CNC-machined double adjuster with left and right-hand threads, allowing for quick and easy adjustments right on the car without needing to remove the bar. This kit is fully TIG welded using DOM mild steel tubing and comes pre-assembled with greaseable bushings and Roto-Joints, ready for installation using OEM hardware. It’s finished with a durable powder coat to resist corrosion.
