UMI Performance 82-02 GM F-Body Competition Panhard Bar Lowering/Leveling Kit

This UMI Performance panhard bar lowering and leveling kit is designed for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. It addresses the factory panhard bar mount, which is often too high for performance driving. By lowering or leveling the panhard bar, you can adjust your rear roll center height, which helps prevent mid-corner oversteer and can enhance rotation. This kit also provides much-needed clearance for over-the-axle exhaust systems.

You get a weld-in reinforcement plate for the factory panhard bar mount, which is essential for competition use, along with an adjustable strut to manage lateral movement of the bracket system. The laser-cut adjustment slots allow you to fine-tune the panhard bar height in 7/16-inch increments, letting you lower the rear roll center by 1-3/4 to 4 inches. The upper brace is constructed from 1.250-inch USA DOM tubing. While it's a 100% bolt-in for street use, welding is required for competition applications. This kit offers many benefits of a Watts link with a simpler installation and adjustment process.

Keep in mind that this kit requires at least 1.5 inches of clearance between your sway bar and axle tube. You may need UMI's P/N 2244-275 sway bar bracket kit or a similar solution to achieve this. It's also designed to be used with an adjustable panhard bar. This kit is built using USA DOM tubing and is manufactured and raced in the USA.
