UMI Performance 82-02 GM F-Body Competition Panhard Bar Lowering/Leveling Kit

This UMI Performance Panhard Bar Lowering/Leveling Kit is built using 1.250" USA DOM tubing, a strong material choice for the adjustable strut that prevents lateral movement of the bracket system. The factory panhard bar mount location is often too high for performance driving, leading to mid-corner oversteer. This kit addresses that by allowing you to lower and level the panhard bar, which helps to prevent that oversteer and can enhance mid-corner rotation. The laser-cut adjustment slots let you fine-tune the rear roll center height, lowering it between 1-3/4" and 4" in 7/16" increments, giving you much of the tuning capability of a Watts link but with a simpler installation and adjustment process.

For competition use, this kit includes an exclusive weld-in reinforcement plate for the factory panhard bar mount, ensuring a solid connection under demanding conditions. For street use, it's a 100% bolt-in installation. This kit is designed for use with the factory axle and requires at least 1.5 inches of clearance between the sway bar and axle tube; you may need UMI's P/N 2244-275 sway bar bracket kit or a similar solution to achieve this. It must also be used with an adjustable panhard bar. The kit is available in UMI Red or Gloss Black powder coat, and it's designed, manufactured, and raced in the USA.
