Product Details
The UMI Performance adjustable panhard bar is built with 1.250" x .095" DOM steel tubing, offering a much stronger replacement for the stock stamped bar. This is a solid upgrade if you're lowering your 1982-2002 Camaro or Firebird, as it lets you easily center the rear end. It also helps make room for wider tires.
What's really handy is the double adjuster, which is CNC machined from heat-treated 4140 chrome-moly. You can adjust the length right on the car by just loosening a couple of jam nuts, so you don't have to pull the whole bar off. This setup uses a combination of a QA1 3/4" hard chrome-plated rod end with Teflon/Kevlar for reduced rear end bind without hurting your ride quality, and greaseable Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings. It's a well-built piece that increases rear stability and controls unwanted side movement and body flex, making it great for street driving or drag strip use.
Installation uses your original hardware and typically takes about 20 minutes. The bar comes with a durable powder coat finish and includes CNC machined aluminum step bushings to ensure it fits centered in the mounting points.
