UMI Performance 82-02 GM F-Body On-car Adjustable Control Arms- Poly/Roto-Joint

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for performance applications. If you're working on your 1982-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird and want to improve how the rear suspension handles, these on-car adjustable lower control arms are a solid option. They replace your stock arms and use UMI's unique Roto-Joint technology on one end and a polyurethane bushing on the other, designed to give you better performance without sacrificing too much ride comfort.

The Roto-Joints allow for a significant amount of rotation, up to 28 degrees, which helps prevent suspension bind. This means the suspension can move more freely, leading to improved traction and a noticeable reduction in wheel hop, especially during hard acceleration. The joint itself features a hard chrome-plated 4140 chromoly ball that rotates in a durable Delrin race, built for wear resistance. The housing is also made from strong 4140 chromoly and TIG welded for durability. These control arms are also adjustable while on the car, letting you fine-tune your rear end's position to fit larger tires or center the axle after modifications. The polyurethane bushing end is designed to absorb road noise and vibrations, making for a quieter ride compared to a full rod-end setup.

These control arms are shipped fully assembled and ready to install, using your vehicle's original hardware. The Roto-Joints are greaseable and can be rebuilt if the Delrin race ever wears out, meaning they can last a long time with proper maintenance. The housing is constructed from 1.250" x 0.095" 4130 Chrome Moly steel for added strength and reduced weight, finished with a durable powder coat.
