UMI Performance 82-02 GM F-Body On-Car Adjustable Panhard Bar with Poly Bushings

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for performance vehicles. It replaces the factory stamped steel bar, which can flex and allow the rear end to shift side-to-side. This UMI bar is built from strong 1.250" x .095" DOM steel tubing, making it much more rigid than stock.

The real advantage here is the adjustability. After lowering your car or installing larger tires, the rear end might not be perfectly centered under the car. This panhard bar has a double adjuster with left and right-hand threads, so you can easily make adjustments right on the vehicle without having to remove the bar. This helps ensure your rear end is properly aligned and can provide needed clearance for wider tires. It also helps control side movement and reduces body flex, contributing to a more stable feel on the road or at the track. The bar uses Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings, which are designed to eliminate deflection while still offering a comfortable ride.
