UMI Performance 82-02 GM F-Body On-Car Adjustable Panhard Bar with Poly Bushings

If you're lowering your 1982-2002 Camaro or Firebird, or just want to improve how the rear end handles, centering the rear axle is key. This adjustable panhard bar from UMI Performance is designed to do just that, replacing the weaker stock stamped steel bar with a much stronger tubular design. It helps keep your rear end perfectly centered under the car, which is crucial for proper handling and can give you the clearance needed to fit larger tires without rubbing.

What's really handy about this bar is the double adjuster. It uses left and right-hand threads, so you can make adjustments right there on the car without having to take the whole bar off. Just loosen the jam nuts, turn the adjuster, and retighten. It's built from tough 1.250" x .095" DOM steel tubing with precision TIG welded seams, and the adjuster itself is made from heat-treated 4140 chrome-moly. The polyurethane bushings at each end are grease-able and help eliminate unwanted flex while still providing a comfortable ride. This means better rear stability and less body flex when you're driving.

Installation is straightforward, using your Camaro's original hardware and typically taking about 20 minutes. It's finished with a durable powder coat to resist corrosion and keep it looking good.
