UMI Performance 82-02 GM F-Body Rear Weight Jack System 175lb Street

This UMI Performance rear weight jack system is what you get when you want to dial in your 1982-1992 Camaro's stance and handling. Inside this kit, you'll find custom-wound 175 lb/in springs, designed for street use and comfortable daily driving, along with UMI's unique spring perches that incorporate a Torrington bearing. This bearing makes adjusting your ride height smooth and easy, using just a 3/4-inch socket, extension, and ratchet through the existing hole in your axle.

The beauty of this system is how it simplifies ride height adjustment. You'll swap out your stock spring for this assembly, and the heavy-duty jack screw and spring pad allow for fine-tuning. While installation is straightforward, requiring only basic hand tools, a minor grind on the left axle pad is needed, and instructions are included to guide you through it. The springs themselves are made from premium CrSi wire sourced from the USA, and the whole assembly is finished in a tough UMI red or gloss black powder coat, built and raced right here in the USA.

This system is designed to work with factory rear end housings and also Strange Engineering brand rear housings. It includes an upper poly isolator to help dampen road noise, making for a more comfortable ride.
