UMI Performance 82-02 GM F-Body Rear Weight Jack System 175lb Street

This is the UMI Performance rear weight jack system, designed specifically for your 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird. If you're looking to fine-tune your car's stance and handling, this system lets you adjust the rear ride height precisely. It replaces your stock rear springs with a well-built assembly that makes setting your desired ride height straightforward.

What makes this system stand out is the combination of a heavy-duty jack screw and a spring perch that uses a Torrington bearing. This bearing allows for smooth, easy adjustments using just a 3/4" socket and extension, even with the car's weight on it. The kit comes with custom-wound 175 lb/in springs, which UMI recommends for street driving and spirited cornering. Installation is designed to be simple, essentially swapping out your factory springs, though a minor amount of grinding on the left axle pad is required as detailed in the included instructions. The system also includes an upper poly isolator to help dampen road noise, contributing to a more comfortable ride.
