If you've lowered your 1982-2002 Camaro or Firebird, or if you're looking to fit larger tires, centering the rear axle is a crucial step. The stock panhard bar can be flimsy and doesn't offer much adjustment. This tubular single adjustable panhard bar from UMI Performance is built to replace that weak link, giving you the strength and adjustability you need to get your rear end perfectly centered.
This bar is constructed from strong 1.250" x .095" DOM steel tubing and features a 4130 chrome-moly threaded adapter for easy length changes. The included QA1 rod end, with its hard chrome plating and self-lubricating Teflon/Kevlar lining, works with the Energy Suspension greaseable polyurethane bushings to eliminate rear end bind without making your ride harsh. You can make adjustments to the bar's length off the car, which makes getting that perfect center alignment much simpler. It also uses your Camaro's original hardware for installation, which is typically a quick job.
