Product Details
UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for American muscle cars. This tubular single adjustable panhard bar is a solid replacement for the stock stamped bar on your 1982-2002 GM F-Body, like your Camaro. It's essential for centering the rear end after lowering your vehicle or when you want to fit larger tires, and it also helps reduce rear end bind.
This panhard bar is built with strong 1.250" x .095" DOM steel tubing and features a 4130 chrome-moly threaded adapter. The included QA1 rod end, made with hard chrome-plated Teflon/Kevlar, allows you to easily adjust the bar's length off the car to get your rear end perfectly centered. Combined with Energy Suspension greaseable polyurethane bushings, it eliminates most rear end bind without sacrificing ride quality. The CNC machined aluminum step bushings ensure a centered fit at the mounting point, and the whole assembly is TIG welded for strength and finished with a durable powder coat.
Installation uses your original hardware and typically takes about 20 minutes. This is a great improvement for both street driving and drag strip use.
