UMI Performance 82-92 GM F-Body Front Lower A-arms Polyurethane Coilover Specific

If you're setting up your 1982-1992 Chevrolet Camaro with a coilover suspension, these front lower A-arms from UMI Performance are built to handle the job. They're designed specifically to work with coilovers, and the spring bucket has been deleted and replaced with a laser-cut reinforcement plate. This not only saves about 7 pounds compared to the factory setup but also makes room for your new suspension components. These A-arms are ready for direct bolt-in installation right out of the box.

UMI fabricates these lower A-arms from drawn over mandrel tubing with CNC-machined tube ends, ensuring a precise and accurate fit. They're assembled on a jig to maintain accuracy, and critical areas are TIG welded for added strength and a clean appearance. You'll find greaseable polyurethane bushings and premium ball joints installed, along with polyurethane bump stops. A notable feature is the adjustable steering stops, which allow you to fine-tune your vehicle's turning radius. This is especially helpful when fitting wider aftermarket wheels and tires, as it helps prevent rubbing. The aluminum shims for these stops add no extra weight.

These A-arms also offer additional tire clearance for wider tires. They come with a tough red or black powder coat finish to keep them looking good.
