UMI Performance 82-92 GM F-Body T56 Transmission Mount

When you're swapping a T56 transmission into your 1982-1992 GM F-Body, like a Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird, you'll need a solid mount to secure it. This transmission mount from UMI Performance is designed specifically for that job, helping you position the popular T56 transmission correctly in your car.

This mount is built from strong, laser-cut 3/16" and 1/4" thick steel, giving it a solid foundation. It offers a useful 3/4" of adjustment fore and aft, which is crucial for getting the driveline angles just right during a swap. UMI also designed this mount with maximum exhaust clearance in mind, so you're less likely to run into clearance issues with your exhaust system. Keep in mind that this mount does not include a torque arm provision, so you'll need to use an aftermarket torque arm, like UMI's own 2235 or 2236 models.
