If you're swapping in a TH400 transmission into your 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird, you'll need a solid way to handle the torque arm. This tunnel-mounted torque arm from UMI Performance is designed specifically for that job, moving the torque arm's front mounting point off the transmission tailshaft. This protects your transmission's tailshaft from the stress and potential damage that can occur when the torque arm is mounted directly to it, especially with increased horsepower.
