UMI Performance 91-96 Impala SS Adjustable Extended Length Lower Control Arms- Rod Ends

When you're working on the rear suspension of your 1991-1996 Chevrolet Caprice or Impala SS, getting the rear wheels perfectly centered in the wheel wells is key for both looks and handling. This set of adjustable extended length lower control arms from UMI Performance is designed to do just that. You get the control arms themselves, fully assembled with grease-able Energy Suspension bushings and Teflon-lined spherical rod ends, plus new 10.9 grade sway bar hardware. These arms are built from strong 1.500" DOM tubing and are fully TIG welded for maximum durability.

What sets these apart is the adjustability. They're extended by 5/8" right out of the box, and then offer an additional 1/4" of adjustment, giving you plenty of room to dial in the perfect wheel centering. UMI also reinforced the sway bar mounting holes with a 0.120" thick steel sleeve, and they include a billet aluminum spacer that contours to the tubing for a solid connection. The spherical rod ends at the rear end connection allow the suspension to move freely without binding, which can really improve how the car handles, while the polyurethane bushings at the chassis absorb road noise for a more comfortable ride. These control arms are also designed to work with UMI's weld-in relocation brackets if you plan on using those down the road.

Installation is straightforward, using your vehicle's original hardware, and typically takes about 1 to 2 hours. The durable, glossy powder coat finish will help these look good for a long time.
