UMI Performance 91-96 Impala SS Adjustable Extended Length Lower Control Arms- Rod Ends

If you're working on a 1991-1996 Chevrolet Caprice, especially an Impala SS, and want to get those rear wheels sitting perfectly centered in the wheel wells, these adjustable lower control arms from UMI Performance are a solid option. They're designed to add 5/8” of length, with an additional ¼” of adjustment built in, so you can dial in the exact position of your rear end. This is especially helpful if you've lowered your car or are running wider wheels and tires.

These control arms are well-built, using 1.500” DOM tubing that's fully TIG welded for maximum strength. They also feature reinforced provisions for adding a stock or aftermarket sway bar, with a billet aluminum spacer that contours to the tubing for a clean attachment. The use of Chromoly Teflon lined spherical bearing rod ends at the rear end connection means your suspension can move freely without binding, which can really improve handling and give you a more connected feel to the road. The chassis side uses Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings to help absorb some of the road noise, making for a more comfortable ride. They're also designed to work with UMI's weld-in relocation brackets if you plan on going that route.

Installation is straightforward, using your OEM hardware and typically taking 1-2 hours. They come fully assembled with grease-able bushings and include new 10.9 grade sway bar hardware to get you back on the road with a better-looking and better-handling rear suspension.
