UMI Performance 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro Double Adj. Front Coilover Kit (Spring Rate 300lb)

This is the UMI Performance Double Adjustable Front Coilover Kit for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro. This kit lets you install a true 2-1/2 inch racing coilover spring and shock assembly, replacing the factory rubber shock mount which can rust and cause unwanted movement. It's designed to give you a more responsive and reliable front suspension setup.

The kit features a bolt-in, double shear upper mount that's powder coated for durability and designed to drain water effectively. It captures a Viking double adjustable coilover shock, allowing for 19 levels of compression and 19 levels of rebound adjustment. You can choose from several spring rates, with the included 300 lb-in springs being ideal for drag racing applications. For a more street-oriented setup or corner carving, UMI recommends higher rates like 350, 450, or 550 lb-in. The shocks use upper and lower bearings, eliminating rubber and polyurethane for crisp response and high reliability, even under demanding conditions like drag wheelies or aggressive cornering. The fabricated upper mount is CNC laser cut for a precise fit and finished in black powder coat. This is a 100% bolt-in design using high-grade hardware, and it allows for about 1-3 inches of lowering from the factory position without making permanent chassis changes.

UMI Performance manufactures and tests all their products in Philipsburg, PA, using US materials. While this kit includes the necessary shocks and springs, UMI recommends purchasing their Spanner Wrench and Thrust Bearing Kit separately. The thrust bearing kit is placed between the spring and the spring seat to make height adjustments much easier, as the spring seat rotates on a bearing. Adjusting the vehicle height without this kit is not recommended.
