UMI Performance 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro Double Adj. Front Coilover Kit (Spring Rate 550lb)

UMI Performance is known for making well-built suspension components for GM F-Body cars. This double adjustable front coilover kit is designed specifically for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro, offering a significant upgrade over the factory setup. It replaces the stock rubber shock mount, which is prone to rust and unwanted movement, with a robust, double shear upper mount that drains well and is finished in a durable black powder coat. This kit allows you to install a true 2-1/2” racing coilover spring and shock, giving you more options for tuning your suspension.

The included Viking Warrior shocks are double adjustable, giving you 19 settings for both compression and rebound. This level of adjustability, combined with the bearing-mounted shocks that eliminate deflection and offer crisp response, lets you fine-tune your Camaro's handling for everything from street driving to autocross and road racing. The kit comes with a 550 lb-in spring, which UMI recommends for autocross and road racing applications. For general use, a 350 lb-in spring is suggested, while 450 lb-in is good for spirited street driving and 300 lb-in is best for drag racing. This kit is designed for a 1-3” lowering from the factory ride height and is a 100% bolt-in installation, meaning no permanent changes are needed for your chassis.

While the shocks and springs can be installed without it, UMI strongly recommends purchasing their spanner wrench and thrust bearing kit for easier ride height adjustments. The thrust bearings go between the spring and the spring seat, allowing the spring seat to rotate on a bearing, making adjustments much smoother.
