Starting with a double shear bracket designed for 1/2" bearing, racing-style shocks, these upper front shock mounts from UMI Performance are built to handle the demands of performance driving. They replace the original, rust-prone upper mount and the rubber biscuit, converting the setup to a more robust double shear configuration. This upgrade is ideal if you're installing racing shocks, and UMI recommends them for use with their own Afco shocks, Viking shocks, or most other standard racing shock styles.
These mounts are 100% made in Philipsburg, PA, USA, and have been race-proven on UMI's own Camaro. The double shear design offers improved rigidity and support for the shock, which is crucial when you're pushing the car hard.
