UMI Performance 93-02 GM F-Body Front A-arm Kit Adjustable CrMo Drag Race

If you're building a drag car for your 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro or Pontiac Firebird, these UMI Performance front A-arms are designed to help you get down the track faster. They're specifically built for drag racing, focusing on shaving weight and reducing friction where it counts. The upper arms feature a high-clearance geometry that tucks in, similar to stock, which is crucial for maximizing suspension travel when the front wheels lift off the line. This design helps maintain control as the car settles back down.

These A-arms are constructed from strong 1-1/4 inch USA CrMo tubing, offering plenty of strength for hard launches and landings. UMI has streamlined the ball joint plate and used heavy-duty aluminum racing rod ends in the uppers, saving about a half-pound per side compared to the factory stamped arms. The lower arms also use CrMo construction and a redesigned tube configuration to ensure safety and performance, whether you're powering through the traps or handling the landing after a wheel stand. They accept most major racing coilover brands with a 1/2 inch by 1-1/4 inch wide mount, and they come pre-assembled with premium ball joints and race-quality rod ends, including a high-misalignment rod end on the rear strut mount. You also get an additional +2 degrees of caster thanks to the relocated upper ball joint pad, which helps with straight-line stability.

This kit offers a total weight savings of 11 pounds for the front end, making a noticeable difference in performance. They are a direct bolt-in for your F-body and maintain the factory track width. Provisions for a travel-limiting chain are installed, and there's an optional sway bar tab if you plan on any light street use. The kit includes a hardware kit with Grade 10.9 bolts, washers, and Ny-lock nuts for a complete installation. These are manufactured, tested, and raced in the USA and are available in a durable red or black powder coat finish.
