Starting with 1-1/4” diameter USA mild steel DOM tubing, this UMI Performance A-arm kit is built to give your 4th Gen Camaro or Firebird a rock-solid foundation. This kit combines their race-oriented lower A-arms with street-friendly upper A-arms, creating a setup that’s well-suited for drag racing while still offering a precise steering feel and smooth travel. The lower arms feature in-house built 4130 CrMo tube adapters that attach to premium, Teflon-lined rod ends, ensuring durability and high load capacity. For the upper arms, UMI uses greaseable polyurethane bushings, which are known for their street-friendly performance.

The construction details here really matter for performance. The lower ball joint cup is CNC machined for accuracy, and the upper pad is laser cut. Both come with premium ball joints already installed. The shock mount is a tough 1/4” thick steel piece, designed to handle the stresses of spirited driving.
