If you're working on a 1993-2002 Chevrolet Camaro convertible, these tubular subframe connectors are designed to tie your front and rear subframes together, creating a much stiffer and stronger chassis. This is especially important for convertibles, which often flex more than their coupe counterparts. These connectors are made from strong DOM mild steel tubing and feature a tubular design that tucks up tight against the floor, so you won't lose any ground clearance. The mounting plates are machined from thick 0.250” steel, and the whole assembly is MIG welded. UMI also applies a durable powder coat finish to protect them.
