This thrust bearing kit from UMI Performance is designed to go between the spring and the spring seat on your Viking or UMI coilovers. Its main job is to let the spring seat spin on a bearing, which makes adjusting your ride height much smoother. While not strictly required for installation, it's highly recommended if you plan on making height adjustments while the coilovers are on the vehicle. Trying to turn the spring seat without this bearing can be a real struggle.
