This is a complete gasket kit with oil seals from Vertex Pistons, designed for 1980 and 1981 Polaris Apollo, Oldsmobile Cutlass, and Ford Galaxie models. It contains all the gaskets, o-rings, and engine oil seals specified by the OEM to help you rebuild your engine. The kit also includes formed rubber valve cover gaskets, which are a nice upgrade over traditional cork or composite types for a better seal.
Vertex uses their High-performance interface MicroPore gasket material where applicable in this kit. This material is chosen for its ability to create a reliable seal under engine operating conditions. While this kit covers most of your engine sealing needs, please note that it does not include the mechanical water pump seal.
