Vibrant's ExtremeShield 1400 Flexible Reflective Wrap is a well-built solution for protecting sensitive lines and hoses from high engine bay temperatures. This 4-foot length of 1/2-inch O.D. wrap is designed to go around components that are difficult to remove or disassemble, making installation much simpler.
The wrap features an aluminized outer layer bonded to insulating fiberglass. This construction is tested to reflect temperatures up to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit (760 degrees Celsius), offering solid protection against hot engine parts. It cuts cleanly with scissors, and the pre-formed split tubing design allows you to simply wrap it around your hose or cable. A high-temperature adhesive strip is included to seal the wrap securely in place.
