This Vibrant Performance braided flex hose uses a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber inner liner surrounded by a durable nylon braided cover. The nylon braiding offers good abrasion resistance and keeps the hose lightweight. It's suitable for a variety of fluids including oil, water, fuel, and coolant, and can handle temperatures from -40 degrees F up to 300 degrees F. You can also use it for E85 and methanol, but be aware that fumes may permeate the hose if fuel sits stagnant for extended periods; for those applications, Vibrant recommends their PTFE flex hose.
With an operating pressure rating of 350 PSI, this hose is a solid choice for many custom plumbing needs. Just remember, it's not designed for brake lines or other high-pressure hydraulic systems, nor is it recommended for in-tank fuel or oil use. This 2-foot roll comes in black and features a -16 AN size fitting.
