This is a 2-foot roll of Vibrant Performance -4 AN black nylon braided flex hose. It's built with a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber inner liner and a durable nylon braided cover, giving you good abrasion resistance. This hose is a solid choice for a variety of applications, including oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum lines. It can handle temperatures from -40 degrees F up to 300 degrees F and operating pressures up to 350 psi.
While it works well with E85 and methanol, keep in mind that fumes can permeate the hose if fuel sits stagnant for extended periods. For those specific uses, Vibrant offers a PTFE flex hose. This hose is not intended for use as a brake line or other high-pressure hydraulic systems, nor is it recommended for in-tank applications.
