This hose is built with a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber inner liner and a tough 300 series stainless steel braided outer cover. This hose is suitable for a variety of fluids including oil, water, fuel, and coolant. It can handle operating pressures up to 1000 PSI and temperatures from -40 degrees F up to 300 degrees F. While it can handle E85 and methanol, keep in mind that fumes might permeate the hose if fuel sits stagnant for extended periods; for those situations, Vibrant offers a PTFE hose. It's important to note that this hose is not intended for use as a brake line or for any other high-pressure hydraulic systems, nor is it recommended for in-tank fuel applications.
