The inner liner is made from reinforced CPE synthetic rubber, which is suitable for a wide range of fluids including oil, water, fuel, and coolant. The outer layer is a tough 300 series stainless steel braid that offers excellent protection against abrasion and corrosion. This hose can handle operating pressures up to 500 psi and temperatures from -40 degrees F up to 300 degrees F, making it a solid choice for many under-hood applications. While it can be used with E85 and methanol, keep in mind that fumes can permeate over time if the fuel sits stagnant, so Vibrant offers a PTFE hose for more demanding E85/methanol uses.

Just remember, this hose isn't designed for brake lines or other high-pressure hydraulic systems, nor is it recommended for in-tank fuel applications. It's a great choice for custom fuel, oil, or coolant plumbing where flexibility and durability are important.
