This is a 20-foot roll of Vibrant Performance -8 AN stainless steel braided flex hose. It's built with a reinforced CPE synthetic rubber inner liner and a tough 300 series stainless steel braided outer cover, giving you solid protection against abrasion and corrosion. This hose is a good choice for a variety of applications, including oil, water, fuel, coolant, and vacuum lines.
The stainless steel braiding makes this hose suitable for demanding environments, and it can handle operating pressures up to 500 psi. It's also rated for temperatures from -40 degrees F to 300 degrees F (-40 C to 150 C). While it can be used with E85 and methanol, keep in mind that fumes may permeate over time if the fuel sits stagnant, so Vibrant offers a PTFE hose for extended use in those specific situations. This hose is not intended for use as brake lines or other high-pressure hydraulic systems, nor for in-tank fuel applications.
