These clamps are made from stainless steel, which holds up well in the engine bay. The inside of the clamp is lined with neoprene rubber, which acts as a cushion between the clamp and your hose. This is important because it stops the metal clamp from rubbing against the hose material, which could eventually wear through and cause a leak.
