Vibrant Horizontal Flow Intercooler Core 14in x 11.75in x 3.5in Thick

This is a Vibrant Performance intercooler core, measuring 14 inches wide, 11.75 inches high, and 3.5 inches thick. It's designed for forced induction applications where cooling the air charge from your turbo or supercharger is critical for performance. By lowering the temperature of the compressed air before it enters your engine, you get a denser air charge, which means more power and better engine efficiency.

This core uses a bar and plate construction, a popular choice for its durability and effective heat dissipation. It features a louvered fin design on the outside to maximize surface area for cooling, and an offset fin design on the inside where the air flows through. This internal design helps reduce pressure loss, so your turbo doesn't have to work as hard to push air into the engine. It's made from 6061 aluminum, a strong yet lightweight material that's well-suited for dissipating heat.
