Starting with a 1/2 inch thick piece of HRPO mild steel, this exhaust manifold flange from Vibrant is precision laser cut to ensure the exhaust port is optimized for standard wall round tubing or Schedule 10 weld fittings. This is a solid choice if you're fabricating or replacing an exhaust manifold on your VW/Audi 2.0FSI motor, especially for the 2007-2013 GTI.
The 1/2 inch thickness gives you a strong base for welding, and it's designed to work well with Schedule 10 or Schedule 40 pipe. For best results when welding stainless steel to this mild steel flange, Vibrant suggests using 309L welding rod. This flange is a well-built component for custom exhaust work.
