These Vibrant Performance weld ferrules are made from 6061 aluminum and are designed to fit 4-inch outside diameter tubing. They come with an O-ring seal, which is crucial for creating a leak-free connection in boosted applications.
The 6061 aluminum construction makes these ferrules lightweight yet strong enough for many fabrication projects. They are intended to be welded onto your tubing and then used with a Vibrant HD Clamp (sold separately, part #12568 is recommended) to connect to another component, like a turbocharger inlet or intercooler pipe. Having the O-ring integrated into the ferrule simplifies the assembly process.
