MAHLE Original Chrysler Cirrus 00 Timing Cover Seal

This is the timing cover seal for a variety of Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, and Eagle vehicles. It's a small but important part that keeps oil from leaking out around the crankshaft where it exits the engine block. When this seal starts to go bad, you'll usually notice oil dripping down the front of the engine, often onto the exhaust manifold, which can create smoke and a burning smell.

Victor Reinz makes this seal to fit right and do its job. It's made from durable material that can handle the heat and constant motion of the crankshaft. Replacing this seal is often done when you're already in there doing other front-engine work, like timing belt or water pump replacements, because you have to remove the timing cover to get to it anyway. Getting a good seal in there now means you won't have to worry about oil leaks down the road.
