The EVO3 Competition Intercooler features a high-performance bar-and-plate core with a generous surface area and depth, measuring 610mm x 230mm x 100mm. This larger core allows for much more efficient cooling of the intake air charge compared to the stock intercooler. Cooler intake air is denser, which means more oxygen can be packed into the cylinders, leading to a more powerful and consistent engine output, especially under demanding conditions. The end tanks are constructed from cast aluminum, providing a solid foundation for the intercooler and ensuring smooth airflow transitions. The intercooler's internal volume is increased by 100% over the stock unit, further enhancing its cooling capacity.
