Can I use this kit with an aftermarket S300 or S400 turbo?

No. Wehrli specifically notes this kit is not recommended for S300 or S400 style turbochargers. It is designed for OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbochargers. Wehrli offers separate single turbo kits (WCF100478 and WCF100489) for those setups.

What components are included in the Stage 3 bundle?

The kit includes the 4-inch intake with airbox and dry filter, 4-inch turbo intake horn, 3-inch fabricated billet Y-bridge, 3-inch cold side and hot side intercooler pipes, 3-inch turbo downpipe with ceramic coat and heat wrap, FPRV block-off kit, silicone boots, stainless T-bolt clamps, and all necessary hardware and gaskets.

Does this kit include an air filter?

Yes. A dry air filter is included along with a hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover. The pre-filter helps keep contaminants away from your MAF sensor, turbo, and engine airways.

Wehrli Custom Fab's Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit brings together the Stage 1 intake system, Stage 2 intercooler piping, and a 3-inch downpipe into one package for the 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, GMC Sierra 2500 HD, and Sierra 3500 with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax. This Bengal Blue powder coat finish version gives your engine bay a bold, custom look while addressing the known airflow restrictions in the factory intake tract.

The kit replaces the restrictive plastic factory air intake with a fabricated aluminum system featuring large-diameter 4-inch piping with smooth, aerodynamic bends. The airbox is constructed from 10-gauge aluminum sheet and draws cold air through the inner fender to keep intake temperatures down. A removable lid makes filter inspection straightforward, and the included dry air filter comes with a hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover to protect your MAF sensor, turbo, and engine airways from contaminants.

On the intake side, the included 4-inch high flow turbo intake horn removes the restrictions in the OEM setup to improve turbo spool and top-end power. This horn is compatible with OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbochargers. The Stage 2 components replace the OEM LB7 Y-bridge and both intercooler pipes with 3-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping that feeds into Wehrli's TIG-welded, CNC-machined billet Y-bridge base, creating a full 3-inch intake tract between the turbo and engine.

The 3-inch downpipe is a straight shot compared to the factory unit's crushed spots and curves, helping improve exhaust flow and reduce under-hood temperatures. It comes finished in black ceramic coat with heat wrap. The kit also includes an FPRV block-off kit for proper clearance to the larger Y-bridge, silicone boots rated for higher pressures and temperatures than the factory parts, and stainless steel T-bolt clamps. All hardware and gaskets are in the box. Note: this kit is not recommended for use with S300 or S400 style turbochargers -- it is designed for OEM and IHI-style drop-in turbos.
