Wehrli 01-04 Chevrolet 6.6L LB7 Duramax High Flow Intake Bundle Kit - CAT Yellow

If you are rebuilding the intake side of your 2001-2004 Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Sierra 2500 HD, or Sierra 3500 with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax, this Wehrli Custom Fab Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit replaces every restrictive factory intake component in one shot. Finished in CAT Yellow powder coat, this kit combines the Stage 1 High Flow Bundle, Stage 2 Intake Kit, and a 3" down pipe into a single package built to open up airflow from the filter all the way through to the exhaust side of the turbo.

At the heart of the kit is a full 3" mandrel-bent aluminum piping setup that replaces the OEM LB7 Y-bridge, passenger-side cold intercooler pipe, and driver-side hot intercooler pipe. Wehrli's TIG-welded, CNC-machined billet Y-bridge base feeds air into a true 3" intake tract between the turbo and engine, which helps improve throttle response, speed up turbo spool, and bring down exhaust gas temperatures. On the intake side, a 4" fabricated aluminum air intake pipe and enclosed air box with a dry filter and hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover pull cold air through the inner fender, keeping the MAF sensor and turbo airways clean.

The included 4" high flow turbo intake horn removes the restriction in the factory turbo mouthpiece, and it works with both OEM and upgraded IHI-style drop-in turbochargers. Silicone boots rated for higher pressures and temperatures replace the factory rubber pieces that tend to crack and leak boost over time, and stainless steel T-bolt clamps keep everything tight. An FPRV block-off kit is also included to clear the larger-diameter Y-bridge assembly.

On the exhaust side, the 3" high flow down pipe runs a straighter path compared to the crushed and curved factory piece, helping move exhaust gas out more efficiently and reducing under-hood temperatures. It comes finished in black ceramic coat with heat wrap. All piping and components are finished in Wehrli's CAT Yellow powder coat for a look that stands out under the hood.

Note that this kit is not recommended for use with S300 or S400 style turbochargers. It is built for OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbos. Not CARB approved.
