Wehrli 01-04 Chevrolet 6.6L LB7 Duramax High Flow Intake Bundle Kit - Kiwi Green

A full intake-to-exhaust airflow upgrade for your 2001-2004 Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Sierra 2500 HD, or Sierra 3500 with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax -- that is what Wehrli Custom Fab packs into this Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit. Finished in Kiwi Green powder coat, every component from the air box to the down pipe is color-matched for a cohesive look under the hood.

On the intake side, a 4" fabricated aluminum pipe and 10-gauge enclosed aluminum air box pull cold air through the inner fender. The dry filter and hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover protect the MAF sensor and turbo from contaminants, and the removable air box lid makes filter checks fast. A 4" high flow turbo intake horn replaces the restrictive factory turbo mouthpiece, working with OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbochargers to open up spool and top-end power.

From the turbo side, Wehrli swaps the factory Y-bridge, cold-side intercooler pipe, and hot-side intercooler pipe for 3" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing feeding a TIG-welded, CNC-machined billet Y-bridge base. That full 3" diameter through the intercooler tract helps the turbo respond faster, feeds the engine more air, and can help reduce exhaust gas temperatures. Upgraded silicone boots rated for higher pressures and temperatures take the place of the angled factory rubber pieces that tend to crack, while stainless steel T-bolt clamps keep every connection sealed tight.

The Stage 3 addition is a 3" high flow down pipe that runs a much cleaner path than the factory piece with its crushed spots and tight curves. It comes in black ceramic coat with heat wrap for thermal protection. An FPRV block-off kit, gaskets, and all installation hardware are included. Not for S300 or S400 turbochargers. Not CARB approved.
