Wehrli 01-04 Chevrolet 6.6L LB7 Duramax High Flow Intake Bundle Kit - Sparkle Copper

Wehrli Custom Fab builds each component in this Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit from aluminum -- the air box, intake piping, intercooler pipes, Y-bridge, and down pipe -- creating a lighter, less restrictive intake tract than the factory plastic and rubber setup on the 2001-2004 LB7 Duramax. This version is finished in Sparkle Copper powder coat, one of Wehrli's specialty metallic flake colors, and fits the Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Sierra 2500 HD, and Sierra 3500.

Cold air enters through a 4" fabricated aluminum intake pipe and 10-gauge aluminum air box that routes air from the inner fender. A dry filter with a hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover keeps the MAF sensor and turbo clean, and the removable air box lid lets you inspect the filter without pulling the whole unit. The 4" high flow intake horn opens up the factory turbo mouthpiece, working with OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbochargers.

The intercooler tract gets a full 3" overhaul: mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for both the cold and hot side intercooler pipes, connected to Wehrli's TIG-welded, CNC-machined billet Y-bridge base. That consistent 3" diameter feeds more air to the engine, helps the turbo spool up faster, and can help reduce exhaust gas temperatures under hard driving. Silicone boots rated for higher pressures and temperatures replace the factory rubber that is a known weak point on the LB7, and stainless steel T-bolt clamps secure every connection.

The 3" down pipe takes a straight path compared to the crushed factory piece, coated in black ceramic with heat wrap. An FPRV block-off kit, gaskets, and full installation hardware are included. For OEM and IHI-style turbochargers only. Not CARB approved.
