Replacing the factory intake tract on the 2001-2004 LB7 Duramax opens up airflow at every point where the stock system creates restriction. This Wehrli Custom Fab Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit covers everything from the air filter to the exhaust down pipe for the Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Sierra 2500 HD, and Sierra 3500, finished in Sparkle Granny Smith -- a bright green metallic flake powder coat from Wehrli's specialty color lineup.

Air enters through a 4" fabricated aluminum intake pipe and enclosed air box made from 10-gauge aluminum sheet. The box routes air from the inner fender to keep intake temperatures down, and the dry filter with hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover protects the MAF sensor and turbo. The removable air box lid means filter maintenance does not require removing the whole assembly. A 4" high flow intake horn opens up the factory turbo mouthpiece, supporting OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbochargers.

Moving from the turbo to the engine, Wehrli replaces the factory Y-bridge and both intercooler pipes with 3" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and their TIG-welded, CNC-machined billet Y-bridge base. That uniform 3" tract reduces restriction, which helps the turbo build boost faster and can lower exhaust gas temperatures. The upgraded silicone boots are rated for higher pressures and temperatures than the factory rubber pieces, and stainless steel T-bolt clamps keep everything locked down.

A 3" high flow down pipe rounds out the Stage 3 package, replacing the factory exhaust pipe that has crushed areas and tight bends. It wears a black ceramic coat with heat wrap for thermal management. FPRV block-off kit, gaskets, and all mounting hardware are included. For OEM and IHI-style turbos only. Not CARB approved.
