Can I order individual components from this kit separately?

Yes, Wehrli sells the individual components that make up this bundle (air intake, intercooler piping, Y-bridge, down pipe) as separate kits. The Stage 3 bundle packages them together at a savings compared to buying each piece individually.

Does this kit fit both 2WD and 4WD trucks?

Wehrli Custom Fab's Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit gives the 2001-2004 Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Sierra 2500 HD, and Sierra 3500 a full airflow overhaul from the air filter to the exhaust down pipe. This kit is finished in WCFab Grey -- one of Wehrli's signature specialty powder coat colors that matches well with both light and dark truck exteriors.

The intake side features a 4" fabricated aluminum pipe feeding into an enclosed 10-gauge aluminum air box that draws cold air through the inner fender. A dry filter with a hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover protects the MAF sensor and turbo airways from contaminants, and the removable air box lid means you can check the filter without tools or disassembly. The included 4" high flow turbo intake horn replaces the factory turbo mouthpiece, removing a common LB7 restriction point and working with OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbochargers.

From the turbo to the engine, Wehrli replaces the OEM Y-bridge, cold-side intercooler pipe, and hot-side intercooler pipe with 3" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing feeding their TIG-welded, CNC-machined billet Y-bridge base. That full 3" tract is a major step up from factory dimensions, helping the turbo build boost more efficiently, improving throttle response, and reducing exhaust gas temperatures. Upgraded silicone boots rated for higher pressures and temperatures replace the factory rubber that splits and leaks over time, all secured with stainless steel T-bolt clamps.

The 3" high flow down pipe takes a straight path compared to the crushed factory piece, finished in black ceramic coat with heat wrap for thermal management. An FPRV block-off kit, gaskets, and complete installation hardware round out the kit. Compatible with OEM and IHI-style turbos only. Not CARB approved.
