This Wehrli Custom Fab Stage 3 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit replaces the restrictive factory air intake, intercooler piping, Y-bridge, and down pipe on the 2001-2004 Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Sierra 2500 HD, and Sierra 3500 with the 6.6L LB7 Duramax. Finished in WCFab Red powder coat -- one of Wehrli's signature specialty colors -- this kit stands out as much visually as it does functionally.

The 4" fabricated aluminum intake pipe and 10-gauge aluminum air box draw cold air through the inner fender, leaving behind the restrictive plastic factory components. A dry filter with a hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover protects the MAF sensor and turbo from dust and debris, with a removable lid for quick visual inspections. The 4" high flow turbo intake horn opens up the factory turbo mouthpiece, working with OEM and IHI-style upgraded drop-in turbochargers to help the turbo breathe better.

Between the turbo and engine, Wehrli's 3" mandrel-bent aluminum piping replaces the factory Y-bridge and both intercooler pipes. Their TIG-welded, CNC-machined billet Y-bridge base ties it all together into a full 3" tract that helps the turbo spool faster, improves throttle response, and can bring exhaust gas temperatures down. Silicone boots rated for higher pressures and temperatures take the place of factory rubber boots that crack and develop boost leaks, secured by stainless steel T-bolt clamps at every joint.

On the exhaust side, the 3" high flow down pipe runs straighter than the crushed factory piece, wearing a black ceramic coat with heat wrap for thermal protection. FPRV block-off kit, gaskets, and all installation hardware are included. OEM and IHI-style turbochargers only. Not CARB approved.
