This Wehrli thermostat housing and upper coolant pipe kit is CNC machined from billet aluminum, offering a strong and well-built replacement for your 2001-2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD or GMC Sierra 2500 HD with a 6.6L Duramax LB7 or LLY engine. It reconfigures the coolant routing from the thermostat to exit upwards and forwards, moving away from the driver's side valve cover. This updated layout is crucial if you're installing a race cover style or SXE turbocharger, as it creates the necessary clearance. It also makes accessing fuel system components on the driver's side much easier, a practical benefit during maintenance or upgrades.

Beyond the functional improvements, this kit also updates the look of your engine bay with its Bengal Silver powder-coated finish.
