Wehrli Custom Fabrication is well-known for building tough parts for Duramax trucks. This thermostat housing kit is designed for your 2001-2005 Duramax LB7 or LLY engine, specifically addressing common needs when you're working on the fuel system or upgrading your turbo. It replaces the stock upper radiator hose and coolant return pipe, rerouting the coolant flow upwards and forwards.

This updated routing makes it much easier to get to the fuel system components on the driver's side of the engine. It also creates more room for installing larger aftermarket turbochargers, especially those with a race cover or SXE style. The housing itself is CNC machined from billet aluminum for a strong, well-built part that's finished in a durable WCFab Red two-stage powder coat. This kit is compatible with both single and dual CP3 pump setups, and even works with factory VGT style turbochargers.
