Wehrli Stage 3 High Flow Bundle Kit for 2006-2007 Duramax LBZ - Bengal Blue

Wehrli's Stage 3 takes everything in the Stage 2 package and adds the final piece: a 3 in. stainless steel turbo down pipe with heat wrap. The result is a complete airflow overhaul from the filter to the exhaust, all bolting onto your 2006-2007 Duramax LBZ without any tuning. Finished in Bengal Blue powder coat for a distinctive look under the hood.

Starting at the filter, the 4 in. aluminum intake pipe feeds air through a dedicated air box enclosure with a dry filter and hydrophobic Outerwears pre-filter cover. The 4.8 in. turbo intake horn, the largest available for this application, flows 20% more air than the stock unit according to Wehrli. All of the intake-side piping is 14-gauge aluminum with mandrel bends for smooth airflow and a more aggressive turbo sound during acceleration.

After the turbo, the 3 in. driver-side (hot) and 3.5 in. passenger-side (cold) intercooler pipes replace the factory 2.5 in. hot-side and the plastic/rubber cold-side piping. The cold-side pipe alone flows 47% better than stock per Wehrli. CNC machined flanges with double O-ring seals and upgraded silicone hump boots are rated to handle higher boost pressures than factory components, addressing the common boost leak failures on these trucks.

The 3 in. bolt-together Y-bridge replaces the factory slip-fit two-piece unit that blows apart under boost. Wehrli's design flows 36% better than stock and creates a full 3 in. tract from the intercooler pipe to the engine, retaining the factory grid heater and EGR connections.

The Stage 3 addition is a 3 in. stainless steel turbo down pipe that opens up exhaust flow immediately after the turbocharger, removing restrictions in the factory section. Heat wrap is included.
