Is the Gloss White finish the same price as the other color options?

Gloss White is priced the same as Bengal Blue and Bengal Red. The Candy finishes (Candy Red, etc.) carry a higher price due to the multi-stage powder coat process. WCFab Grey and WCFab Red are slightly less expensive.

What factory components does this kit replace?

It replaces the factory air intake assembly, the turbo intake horn, the driver-side (hot) intercooler pipe, the passenger-side (cold) intercooler pipe, the Y-bridge assembly, and the turbo down pipe. All factory sensor connections are retained.

Does the down pipe affect the exhaust sound?

The 3 in. stainless steel down pipe has a larger diameter than the factory pipe, which reduces backpressure. You may notice a slightly deeper exhaust note, particularly during acceleration when the turbo is spooling. The change is modest compared to a full exhaust system replacement.

Clean and straightforward, the Gloss White finish on this Wehrli Stage 3 bundle gives your LBZ engine bay a cohesive look while overhauling the entire airflow path. This kit covers intake, intercooler piping, Y-bridge, and turbo down pipe for the 2006-2007 Duramax LBZ, and every component bolts on without a tune.

Intake system: A 4 in. aluminum pipe draws cold air through the inner fender into an enclosed air box with a dry filter and Outerwears hydrophobic pre-filter. The 4.8 in. turbo intake horn feeds the turbocharger with 20% more air than the factory horn. All piping is 14-gauge aluminum with mandrel bends.

Intercooler pipes: The stock 2.5 in. hot-side pipe and plastic/rubber cold-side pipe get replaced with a 3 in. driver-side (hot) and 3.5 in. passenger-side (cold) aluminum pipe, both with mandrel bends and CNC machined flanges. The cold side flows 47% better than factory. Double O-ring seals and upgraded silicone boots handle higher boost pressures and eliminate the blown boot failures common on the LBZ platform.

Y-bridge: Wehrli's 3 in. bolt-together two-piece design replaces the factory slip-fit unit. It flows 36% better than stock, uses CNC billet flanges, and maintains a full 3 in. path from intercooler to engine while retaining the factory grid heater and EGR connections.

Down pipe: The 3 in. stainless steel down pipe with heat wrap removes restrictions in the factory exhaust section after the turbo, completing the airflow improvements from intake through exhaust.
