The intake side starts with a 4 in. aluminum pipe and enclosed air box assembly featuring a dry filter and Outerwears hydrophobic pre-filter cover. Cold air is drawn through the inner fender for cooler intake temperatures, while the 4.8 in. turbo intake horn -- the largest on the market for this application -- brings a 20% airflow improvement over stock. Smoother aerodynamic bends in the piping improve intake velocity and give the turbo a noticeably more aggressive sound under throttle.

Upgraded Intercooler Tract from End to End

After the turbo, the stock LBZ intercooler piping becomes the bottleneck. The factory 2.5 in. hot-side pipe and plastic cold-side pipe are undersized and prone to leaks. This bundle replaces them with a 3 in. driver-side and 3.5 in. passenger-side intercooler pipe, fabricated from 14 ga. aluminum with mandrel bends for smooth airflow.
